We have a very limited number of spaces available for boys in the following Saturday class for Term 3, which starts on 23rd March 2024.

Please note : weekly classes do not run during the months of July and August.

Please Note : If we have any spaces available for girls, these will be posted on our website in due course, we do not take any advance bookings or contact anybody directly about spaces.

Please note : there are no classes on Sunday, 17th March. All other classes are running as normal over the weekend.

To all the mothers out there, hope you have the best Mother’s Day today and thank you for all you do for our gymnasts, our coaches and our club. We hope you enjoy your special day and are getting totally spoiled. We missed out on wishing everyone Happy International Women’s Day last Friday so we can combine the two and enjoy the double celebration for women everywhere.

It’s time for the first National Series Competition of 2024.

Best of luck to gymnasts Alannah, Blathín, Caoimhe, Éabha, Lucy and Saoirse who are taking part in their first National competition over the weekend. We hope they enjoy it and it lives up to all their expectations and more!

Also competing over the weekend are Eva, Laoise, Sarah and Mya, we wish them every success and hope they have a fabulous time. They have all been working incredibly hard over the past few months to prepare for this competition and now is the time to showcase all the efforts they have put into it. We are so proud of everything they have achieved to date.

Thanks to coaches Saoirse, Tara and Gráinne for their ongoing commitment and putting the gymnasts through their paces week after week and helping them to overcome whatever obstacles they encounter along the way.

Thanks as always to the parents for their support, encouragement and car journeys getting the girls to and from training and competitions, none of this would be possible otherwise!

This year, we are running just one week of Easter Camp. Please read the information below and on the form itself before registering.

• The Camp will run from Monday, 25th to Thursday, 28th March
• Camp time is 9.30am-1.00pm
• Suitable for children born between 1/1/2012 to 31/12/2016 only
• Open to boys and girls, members and non members
• As camp numbers are limited, places are strictly on a first come basis
• Ensure that you complete all questions on the form, in particular entering a correct date of birth
• Please include all information relating to additional medical or behavioural needs, this enables us to plan activities appropriately
• If you are registering more than one family member, you need to complete a separate form for each one
• When all the spaces have been filled, the link will automatically disable and we cannot open additional spaces as we have to operate within our coach:gymnast ratios
• If there are any cancellations, the link will be reactivated so you may want to check back from time to time if you don’t get a space on the camp initially
• Once completed, you should receive an automated email from Jotform and a receipt from PayPal, they may go into your Spam folder. If you do not receive these, the place is not confirmed and you should check with us through email

All classes are running as normal over the St. Brigid’s Bank Holiday weekend.

We are closed for classes from 12th to 18th February, inclusive, for the Midterm break.

As we say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in 2024, we wish all our gymnasts, coaches and families the very best of everything in 2024. Thanks to everyone who supported us during the year and we wish you a safe and prosperous year ahead. Enjoy the celebrations!

Sellers’ Prizes

The following sellers all had their name picked out at random and prizes were selected from a Lucky Dip, which consisted of Selection boxes, Heroes, 5 x Jimmy’s Superstore Vouchers, Custom Cuts voucher, Shower/Bath products and a Miss So gift set. The winners were :-

Special Prize for the person who sold the most tickets – The prize winner was Laoise Fynes who sold a whopping 37 tickets in total and she received a €20 voucher donated by Savoury Fare along with €50 off her training fees for all her hard work, well done Laoise.

We realise this can be an expensive time of year for families and so we really appreciate your generosity, whether it was buying tickets or donating a prize and in some cases, doing both, thank you sincerely. Thanks to all the gymnasts and their parents who sold tickets and supported the Club all year. To all the families and businesses who very generously donated a prize – your support is greatly appreciated and we wish you a prosperous New Year.

We would like to wish you all a very Happy and Healthy Christmas and every good wish for 2024. The gym will be closed on Friday, 22nd December (no classes on Friday) and will reopen again on 6th January 2024.

A few more people and businesses that we need to thank who have very kindly donated to our raffle.

Town Centre Surgery have once again been very generous and donated a lovely voucher to spend in Athlone Town Centre Shopping Centre – who wouldn’t want to win that! Thank you so much.

The fabulous, Il Colosseo Restaurant in Athlone, have donated a voucher to be used in the Restaurant and we thank them sincerely for this lovely gift.

Thank you to Savoury Fare for donating a voucher to spend in any of their restaurants with lots of delicious options to choose from.

Thanks to Azra and Janet for their lovely gift box, we don’t know what is inside so the mystery remains!!

We’re going to have a busy evening ahead getting all the tickets ready for tomorrow, we can’t wait to see who will win all these lovely prizes, if only we had one for everyone! The draw will take place live on Facebook between 12.30 and 1.00pm so stay tuned, fingers crossed there won’t be any glitches. We will contact all the winners by phone afterwards to arrange collection of the prizes.
